Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars sounds like the strange sexual fantasy of the most severe JRPG-obsessed deviant imaginable. Your goal as a “God’s Gift” is to use the celestial powers granted upon you to fight off the forces of evil that threaten the world. However, you can’t take on such a daunting task alone, and are aided by seven heroines who are both beautiful and fierce, hailing from the same magical academy as yourself. Each of these highly-trained vixens will not only aid you in battle, but shall service you in other ways. If that sounds dirty, it’s because that’s how the creators intend it. You should see some of the jokes they make in the press releases. This article is sure to make some readers blush, so be forewarned, as some slightly NSFW content lies ahead. (as if you couldn’t guess that from this game by now)
The game’s seven heroines and classmates aid you by merging their powers with yours in order to create Star Children, elemental beings who make all the difference in battle. Coaxing them to mind-mate with you is not always an easy task, and will require a fair amount of coaxing and getting-to-know-you time before you can get them to pleasure you with a block of cheese, or whatever your fetish is. Each character is different, and you’ll need a different plan to seduce, *ahem*, I mean romance each of them. Messing up too many times can make them rightfully mad at you for a while, which can severely mess you up if you’re in need of a specific magical baby to help you out in combat. Dude, you really need to think before you open your mouth. Check your privilege.
In the past, we’ve only heard passing mentions of these heroines, and seen only a few pictures of each. Today, all veils are lifted, and we get to meet each and every one of your eventual friends-with-benefits.
Chloe is more to you than just a teammate; she’s also the older sister of Choltz, your best friend at the academy and fellow God’s Gift. Although she is only a year older than your character, she fancies herself quite a bit wiser, and even serves as an instructor at the academy. If you want to be teacher’s pet, you’ll have to earn it. Chloe doesn’t mess around, armed with a remote turret optimized to give her a tactical boost in battle. Brains over brawn, baby.
This starry-eyed lass is Ellie. Ellie is a cheery first-year, but don’t let her childlike demeanor fool you. She’s no child, and is very perceptive, making her trickier than she first appears. She’s still a cheery soul, though, and will cheer her teammates on in battle, waving her magical Summoning Gun around like a huge, awkward pom pom.
Feene may look a bit cold, but is never one to be rude. She is always civil and polite, and is a veteran of combat. She uses her gunblade and shield as would a master of combat. She may appear stone-faced, but I’m sure with the right brand of compassion, you can make her crack a smile or two.
This pink-haired Hatsune Miku lookalike is Fuuko. Fuuko is not just a classmate and potential bang buddy, but also a fellow God’s Gift. She is the first babymaker-predestined you’ll meet, and therefore most likely to be the first one with whom you make a Star Child. Just remember, the first time is always awkward and disappointing, so just wear a condom and try to enjoy it and not stress out too much. Fuuko is intelligent and freindly, and a down-to-earth person. But no amount of compassion can stop her and her dual pistols from mowing down demons like so much grass.
My, Narika sure does seem a bit clumsy with that powerful bowgun of hers. She’s a very shy person, without a lot of confidence or initiative. But she means nothing but the best for the people she cares about, a caring that she uses to her best ability as the vice representative of your very own class. All the duties that go with that title must be very stressful for her, so I’m sure she’d appreciate any effort on your part to help her relax.
If you have a thing for the loli, Serina here might just light your fire like no other. Despite her petite stature, Serina is a powerful and adept third-year. She tends to hide her emotions in an attempt to make herself appear stronger despite her frame. Her very fashionable and extremely deadly kick gun probably helps as well.
Finally we have the monochromatic Torri. Torri is the Rei Ayanami or Yuki Nagato-type, if you will, having little understanding or experience of human interaction. Being raised in a research facility, Torri is unsuspecting, naive, and gullible. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to use that naivete to your advantage, you sly master of seduction, you. Just watch out for her gatling gun. Do I really need to tell you that? Does anyone see that thing and say “why yes, I would LOVE to get on the wrong side of that!” I thought not.
Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars has an expected due date in Spring 2014 on PS Vita and 3DS. The game will retail for $39.99, and pre-ordering it on either system will give you the above special edition at no extra cost. This baby shower edition includes a collector’s box and a 10-track soundtrack by Masato Kouda, perfect listening for the newborn. Move aside, Baby Einstein.
So who’s your favorite of the gallery of ladies to join forces with? Who will you make it your highest priority to romance, and why? I personally find myself most fond of Chloe and Narika, but what about you? Let us know in the comments!
