Yesterday Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct on their home website, as they do every couple of months, to directly inform us of new details of games coming for the Wii U and 3DS. Well, ‘The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds’ was one of the games broadcasted directly to us, bringing great new information on the game.
There is a new shop in the game, named Ravio’s shop, that will allow Link to purchase and rent all the items needed in the games dungeons. The old formula of entering a dungeon, finding that dungeon’s item, and then using said item to complete the dungeon, is a thing of the past in this installment.
Furthermore, you’ll will be able to progress through the game at your own whim. You can enter any dungeon in the game in whatever order you please. Instead of the passing through the dungeons in say a 1,2,3 pattern, you could complete them in a 2,3,1 pattern (23 is number 1). This is very reminiscent of the original Zelda game, where you could complete them out of order, and it is something Zelda fans have wanted for a long time.
‘The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds’ will launch this November 22nd on a Nintendo 3DS or 2DS near you.
