Rise of the Triad Gets Its First Update

The first patch for Rise of the Triad, Interceptor Entertainment’s recently-released reboot of the classic Apogee FPS, is now available on Steam. The RotT 1.1 update features hundreds of bugfixes, tweaks and suggestions from the RotT community to help iron out the launch release’s kinks while incorporating fresh ideas to craft the definitive Rise of the Triad experience.

“We are extremely happy about the feedback we have gotten from you guys and we couldn’t have done it without you.” said Interceptor’s Frederik Schreiber in reference to the game’s rabid fanbase.

In addition to a multitude of fixes and tweaks, the update also adds five new maps to the game’s multiplayer rotation, along with a new map playlist tool to make matchmaking more efficient.
