Space Hulk is now available for pre-order through Steam

Full Control Studio’s upcoming upcoming strategy title, Space Hulk, is now available for pre-order on Steam.

Based on Games Workshop’s popular Warhammer 40k board game of the same name, Space Hulk puts players in control of a squad of Space Marine Terminators as they duke it out in turn-based battles aboard a derelict Space Hulk known as the “Sin of Damnation” against waves of vicious tyranid’s known as Genestealers.

In addition to the tactical campaign experience, Space Hulk will offer a robust and asynchronous head-to-head multiplayer experience that will support cross platform multiplayer between Windows PC, Mac and iOS.

Full Control’s Space Hulk marks the first time the popular title has been brought to the realm of video games in 17 years. The last time we saw the Blood Angels battling the Genestealers was in 1996 when Key Games and Electronic Arts released Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels, a tactical FPS on the Panasonic 3DO and later PC, Playstation and Saturn.

Gamers who pre-order Space Hulk on Steam for $29.99 will receive some exclusive bonus content including an exclusive banner pole for showing off in multiplayer games. Additionally, they’ll receive a Hive Fleet Kraken Genestealer skin, which can be used in the game’s single player campaign.

Lock and load marines. Space Hulk will be available for download on August 15th.
